FOOD Box Program

Fresh Organic Options in Dining = FOOD
Participants will get quality USDA certified organic produce consistently and affordably! FOOD Box participants pick up their FOOD Box full of the bountiful harvest from Crabtree's Urban Farm. This Community Supported Agriculture service or 'CSA' provides convenient access to farm fresh food. If you are looking for a local supplier of fresh organic produce and would like to provide your household with quality food each week, this is the program for you!

The Nutritional Advantage:
Vegetables & fruits grown locally & naturally have more vitamins and nutrients than commercially grown vegetables. This is because our produce is grown sustainably in chemical-free, healthy soils, and because we harvest our crops when they are fully ripe & nutrient-rich. This is also a recipe for superior taste!

We invite everyone to visit our farm and observe our sustainable growing practices. With the FOOD box Program, you can be sure that your food is safe and chemical-free! Crabtree Farms received its organic certification in July 2006 (and has renewed annually).

ADOPT-A-BOX Program:
Share the harvest with those who might not have access to fresh organic food. Many in the community go without proper nutrition. Through this program, produce will be donated weekly to partners in the community such as the Bethlehem Center in Alton Park and Northside Neighborhood House in North Chattanooga for direct food assistance. By donating funds to the Adopt-A-Box Program, you can be assured that 100% of donation will provide food to a local family.
